WaterCop’s industrial-grade systems are designed for the scale of commercial buildings and the high demands on their plumbing systems. Addressable sensors enable facility managers to identify the exact location of a leak and quickly address the root cause. Pressure sensors can be utilized to shut-off the water in case of failure to a plumbing systems pressure regulator. There are no plastic parts inside our automatic shut-off valves, they are made with industrial-grade materials and are built to last.
How the WaterCop System Works.
The WaterCop system utilizes an automatic shut-off valve installed on the water supply line of a commercial building. When leak sensors (installed near leak prone areas) detect a leak as small as a few ounces, a signal is instantly sent to the automatic shut-off valve to close the main water line. Water flow is quickly stopped to all downstream areas of your building, protecting the structure and everything that’s in it, from flood damage. With the optional temperature sensors, WaterCop shuts off the water if the temperature drops below a certain predetermined setting; making it ideal for plumbing exposed to extreme cold environments.

“Our condo community’s number one cost enemy is water intrusion. Our Board takes a very aggressive and proactive approach in controlling water damage. Two years ago we decided to install WaterCop systems in all the common areas of our four buildings wherever a source of water leaks was present; i.e. washer machines, ice makers, utility sinks, etc. We also recommended WaterCop systems to all of our owners for installation in their homes.”
“Our Board recently mandated that with any remodeling owners must have their unit’s water source reengineered with a WaterCop system installed. They further directed, where feasible to construction, that all condominiums be retrofitted with a WaterCop system to be funded out of the Association’s capital improvement budget.”
