The SmartConnect unit receives the valve status from the WaterCop AUX I/O output. The information goes to a cloud server and out to the SmartConnect App on your smartphone or tablet. If a leak is detected, the SmartConnect App notifies you of the potential issue. You can also open and close your WaterCop valve through the app for complete control of your water supply. The app will also notify you if there’s a signal loss from the SmartConnect to the cloud service which may indicate a loss of power or a loss of internet connection.
The original and most basic. Designed for a typical single-family residence or if only a shutoff is required. Can be tied into security or automation.
Point-of-use solution. Designed to detect leaks and automatically cut the water supply for individual appliances like water heaters. Can be tied into security or automation.
Premium leak protection. Designed for larger homes, multi-family and commercial buildings. Addressable leak/ temperature sensors and multiple ways to tie into security or automation.
